Magic Pill

There is no Magic Pill.
There is no Silver Bullet.
There will be ups and downs in life.
God assures us of that ;-)

Politicians

A Republican/Democrat Strategist recently asserted that "The American Public has lost faith in their elected officials." I ask, " Is that such a bad thing ?" We must ask ourselves, who, or what entity are we (ultimately) trusting?

Fair ... Just

God is not Fair (as we understand fairness).
But He is JUST, as He understands Justice.
Let us see as He sees.
And, that requires walking by faith, when it appears that God is not fair.

God is from the Old School

He calls "Fast" .... boring.

What is Your Box?

Few people Think outside the box.

Fewer people act outside the box.

And very few live outside the box.

What is Your Box?

05/11/10 - Red light Green light

In life, as in driving, we do 65 in a 55, Pass on double yellows, use sign language to communicate to our fellow drivers, and race to the next red light. It is there where our fellow drivers catch up to us. And we can't bear to acknowledge them, let alone look them in the eye.

The light turns green, and we step on it! Pretending it never happened. Pretending it will never happen again.

And when someone does that to us, we think to ourselves, "what's up with them?"

Convenience Fee

There was a 'Convenience fee' on my payment confirmation statement, of my heating and gas bill. $5.95 - b/c I paid on the due date, w/ a credit card. How often in life, we do not properly plan ahead, and end up paying some sort of "convenience fee." ;-)
